I just put a vhf radio on my boat. The antenna is mounted on the cc. the antenna sits about 6 to 7 inches above the windshield. Is this going to be ok or should i get a rail mount and mount it at the top of the wind shield on the rail? The antenna is a 36" stainless steel antenna.
