Vibration Sensitive Fuse on late model OMC o/b's.

For those who might be interested, especially Corm. OMC (and others) use an automotive ATC style fuse under the bonnet as their primary fuse link for the starting and charging power. The problem with these fuses is they can become vibration sensitive and at increasing RPM's stutter in such a way as to make the electrical system go wacky. For example, the dashboard voltmeter drops to less than 8 volts at high RPM's, even though the battery is fully charged. It's easy to repair once the fuse goes completely open, but until it does, it can drive even an experienced technician nuts. Just replace the fuse, even though it appears to look ok and you might be surprised how many little problems it may clear up.
