Does anyone know of a business that deals with out dated or vintage parts for Evinrude? We have an inventory of Evinrude parts that are just hanging out in the shop collecting dust. Evinrude use to be a main line in our shop but has faded out over the years. We have parts the date back into the early years of OMC and we have no real use for them anymore. I am not trying to solicate any business, as far as, selling parts to the general public, but would like to find a place that deals with older Evinrude parts that might be intrested in taking our old inventory of parts. Any Ideas would be appreciated...Thanks

Outboard dismantlers should be very interested in acquiring your NOS inventory, AT.

There are many. My favorite over the past 40 years has been Twin City Outboard.

Good luck. :)

Try SeaWay marine in Seattle, Washington....they handle all vintage parts from OMC/BRP.

American Outboard in another great source you may want to look into. They are located on the East Coast in Maryland. I usually use them as suppliers on all of my vintage repairs, as well as any parts need back to the 20's. all their info is on their site: www.americanoutboard.com

I will be calling them for a block, pistons, rings for a Big Twin (part# 25022) You wouldn't happen to have any? Just thought I'd ask.. Good luck on your inventory,

I second JB's suggestion to contact Twin City Outboard. I have seen that place, they have hundreds of old engines with the lower units missing. The L/U's tend to get damaged in the land of 10,000 lakes.

You can find their web page via Google.

Yup. Ten thousand lakes and forty million rocks just below the surface.
