My 18' JUMPS outta the hole with a 90HP and hits 40MPH with a light load. Mines rated up to 150HP! Someday I'd enjoy a nice newer 140HP but for now my 90 suits me just fine.

sounds good bro,who needs more power 40mph is great but i had a ranger bass boat before 1979 that went 63 mph with a rebuilt 115 it was crazy took time to build balls to go that fast, but afterward i only drove fast and loved it it was in my blood.

OOPS, OOPS!
Sorry, i was unaware of the glass rules at the moment of this posting due to fish strikes every 60 seconds, which only happens in a tinny!Fish fear tin fishermen far more than glass guys due to there limited tackle boxes and not knot skills!Less money on wax and clear coat = more fish, LOL

the reason fish fear tin more than glass.....is simple.....the chicks are in the glass boat.....and fisherMEN cannot concentrate in fishin when bikini cald chicks are on board.....thats why all tin boats with fishin rodsfollow glass boats....the fish school under the glass boats, they are safer for the fish...and the fish also drink the spilt beer that drips in the water ! :D

Ayuh,.... The outside chine you see in the picture was stitched up a couple years ago....
I posted a thread about it, way back then....

I was gonna, 'n Didn't do the other side....
Don't wanta become a Countrybumkin' II...

Personally, I see those outside chines as a fatal flaw in the hulls,...
I ain't been Way out from our bay, pretty much since it sunk...
Gotta get 1 of these other barges in the driveway Runnin',... By this spring...

That tin barge convinces Me, that Glass is the way to go.....;)

Price of aluminum is High,...
The 4.3LX / Alpha can be popped into 'bout any hull I want,...
The top can be recycled, remounted, or whatever...
Ditto the hardware, electronics, etc...
'n the Free trailer under could fetch a few hundred on the front lawn,.... Empty....

I figure, at Best, on the wagon, leavin' some of the fishin' equipment, water ready, 'bout $3500. is reachin'....
I paid $2500. for it 12/ 15 years ago, 'n dumped $1000.s into it, but it's been Fun....
