More progress. Got the Captain's chair done today. Some cool weather coming in so the 2 cushions, 6 side panels and misc pieces will have to wait a bit.
They look better in person. The lighting in the garage isn't the best for taking photos. Of course it could be poor photo taking talent on my part. LOL

Made pretty good progress the last 3 days. Still have the 3 stern cushions, 2 bow cushions and sunpad to do. Have used 6 cans of paint so far and just ordered 3 more cans. I figure it will take only 2 more cans to finish, but will have one spare can for any touchups in the future.

Finally got it all done. Glad I went with the bright white. Total expense was $200.31. Sure beats the heck out of new vinyl! If it lasts for 2-4 years I will be happy.

Looks good!
I am in the process of doing all of mine now. I went with the sea ray champagne. It is an off white/light tan.
sofar I got 20 of 26 cushions/ vinal pads done. Its taken abit, but definitely gonna be worth it.
hopefully they will last 2-3 years. Will be very careful when all done

Looks Nice!
Most automotive paint jobbers carry SEM ,PPG, or Dupont and can match, mix and load vinyl dyes in spray bombs if you don't have spray equipment, might be useful info for those with an oddball color and such. I usually clean soap and water, then wax and grease remover, and adhesion promoter. It holds up well if you get it clean and don't put it on overly thick.

Stick w/the bright white,.. over time it will match better.

on a side note I had two small tears in my vinyl, and those 'vinyl repair kits' absolutely suck! ....made it look worse!! So, I got a tube of high quality silicone (like outdoor window silicone in white so i could tint) bought some Testers enamels in different colors, mixed till I was happy with the color, then applied,...still looks great two yrs later, barely noticeable.

Working In bodyshops most of my life, there are guys that can do amazing repairs, they would come in and repair tears, burns, welding oops, etc. but like anything you have to ask around and find the right guy.

26 pieces to do is a lot. Are you doing the seats also? Are you using SEM or some other product? I chose SEM because of the UV protection it claims to have.

Yes, chairs too. I have 2 captains chairs.
the rest are bench cushions, side panels, 2 bow fillers, and the engine hatch.
I am also using SEM. Read good reviews.
the boat is a 07 and the vinyal needs some TLC. Mainly stains and marks that wont come off.
sofar they look good, hopefully I prepped enough and they will last a few years.
