Thanx for the info guys I went ahead and got the vinyl sinc just about all of you recommended it. I also went with the merc 75hp 4 stroke.

How hot does vinyl get on say a 90 degree day.

I'm on my second boat with vinyl flooring, and it can get warm at times but I've always been able to walk barefoot on it with no problem.

I like the vinyl. Where do you get it? Is it feasible to just rip out my current carpet and put in vinyl?

If you rip out your old carpet you'll need to remove the old carpet adhesive and probably reseal your deck, then you can install the new vinyl.
