I have always liked the free VNC remote control software, but have heard that some are having problems with Vista.

Anyone use a VNC client/server remote control app on Vista?

Haven't used VNC, don't have a need to remotely run programs. I do use Hamachi for a VPN solution to transfer files back and forth when I'm on the road. Hamachi works a treat and has full encryption etc.

I get the newsletter from Scott Bests website and some of the articles deal with the various problems that they are having with their VNC software with Vista. If you Google Echo VNC you can subscribe to his newsletter.I am using his EchoServer software and I also run UltraVNC mainly because I like the GUI that it uses.
The later versions of EchoVNC incorporate the UltraVNC GUI so you really only need the one program. It works very well and it is free of course.Ron G

I'm running VNC on vista. no problem at all runnning it but big security risk with free version. If you don't need to interact with the user wtc is way better option.
