Re: volvo aq170a press test
Usually if the seals are leaking, it will drip out of the weep hole between the two shaft seals (bottom of the exterior of the pump) into the bilge. That's not to say that the weep hole may have been restricted with a unknown or known (someone trying to plug the leak) foreign object which could stop it from dripping, and possibly force water past the seals. Like I said, this is a long shot. The 170A/B/C/D engines are not cool customers when they overheat. An overheat usually will warp the head. And the heads are prone to cracks.
I didnt see anything dripping from the pump,i will recheck it closer will if be to the outside if it is leaking at the seals? Also would it leak oip out if the seals were bad on it?
