Howdy,

Go to http://epc.brp.com/ Click "View Parts Catalogs" , at "products" click "Select One", click "Stern Drive", Click 1997, find your model number.

You've got an OMC 5.7L engine....If you want more, you'll need either an owners manual or an OEM service manual for your year model.

Regards,

Rick

Right here on iBoats. Look at THESE.

Those are Seloc manuals. You definitely don't want those.

You have an "LK" model which is also the same as a Volvo "LK" model. You can search for manuals for either one. Do yourself a big favor and get a factory one.

I used to get them at marineengine.com but they don't offer them anymore on their website. Might be still be worth contacting them to see if they have any.

That would be Throttle Body Injection. (parts breakdown is indicated in that BRP link and you would likely find an identical one in a VP parts breakdown)

If you just bought that boat, consider yourself lucky that you have a newer OMC (Volvo ) model! The earlier ones have limited (to NO) parts availability on certain "show-stopper" parts!

Re: Volvo/omc ???

The OMC model numbers are not like the Volvo numbers. The OP's 57FDPLKD shows it's a 5.7L engine, the F indicates it's fuel injected. Not that it's a Ford or Chevy. Had it been a carbed engine, the F would have been a 2 or 4 (2bbl or 4 bbl).

Duh...wasn't thinking! True...5.7 would have to be a Chevy.
