uhmm. Are you filling up your fuel filters completely with diesel before you spin them on?

Yes, when I purge the system there is no air present and it may run for days with no air present inthe Rayco fuel bowl, then it will start. It's getting air from somewhere but as I said I have changed everything from the pick up tube and the Raycor filter.

O rings on the filter sealing correctly?

You said after burning 20 gallons it worse, how big is the tank? You could be sucking air in through the pickup tube.

sounds like you have a pinhole leak somewhere downstream of the fuel filter then. I'd take apart every fitting then either use perfect seal or some pipe dope and put it all back together. if you have any rubber hoses make sure you use 2 clamps on every barb. Remove the barbs from the fuel water seperator and again use some dope or perfect seal and reasemble. spin the fuel filter back off and put a little grease on the oring too.

Put an electric boost pump on her just outside the tank (Quinn in Oxnard will have one). If you still get air, it's in the stand pipe (pick up). If no air then you'll have a small fuel leak which is much easier to find . . . ;) Also, she will then be self priming if you open a line at the injection pump, no need to put unfiltered fuel on the clean side of your filters anymore. Does she have a hand priming pump now?
