Get a 1” hole saw. You will need to cut a hole on the area of the adapter housing where the housing is @ a 45* angle before it goes to the surface that butts up to the rear of the engine. With a 13mm universal socket you will be able to remove the bolts that mount the damper plate to the flywheel by rotating the engine It does not matter where you cut the hole so do it where it is easy. After the engine is separated you will need a torch to loosen the hub or you may have to cut it off. The damper is generic and is a standard marine part so you do not have to get it from Volvo.
When they are rusted on this is the only way to separate the engine from the housing. There are 3 bolts that mount the damper.
