Have a 2019 Regal 28 Express with a 350 Volvo Penta DPS-B1 (Model: 22090411). This weekend, 10 minutes after leaving the dock and accelerating to plane, I lost power. Engine kept on, but props (duoprop) were no longer turning. Got a towing to get back to the dock. Throttle on forwarding or reversing increases RPM, but it does not engage into gear apparently. On land, if throttle is in forward or reserve position, I can easily turn the props with my hands in any direction.
Spun props (both)? Problem with shifting linkage?
Hope someone can enlighten on this issue.
Thanks in advance.

You still have the factory warranty?
I am the second owner. I am contacting the dealer I bought from to get the proof of transferred warranty to claim it.
Wondering what the issue is and if something that is easy to fix as maybe I could resolve myself. Any ideas?

Pop the plastic cover off and check the shift linkage to see if everything moves when the throttle is pushed forward and in reverse. If it does, you probably have internal problems, if not, you should be able to correct it and get back on the water.

If its has DTS check to see if you havent accidentially hit the disengague button on the shift lever. Each time you hit it on or off it should beep.
