Hello,

I need to learn how to (sooner or later) replace the bellows on my SX-M1 outdrive.
I've been reading this forum for a few hours and came across some really good informataion. One thread stated to look at the "for adults only" thread for a link to the service manual. I looked there and didn't find anything. I've (think) I've just about got it down, but as I've learned, those last bits of information are vital.

Any help would be appreciated.

Odd, I thought I replied to this the day you posted it ??????

Oh well, here it is again.
You can easily change the bellows without removing the bellhousing.
After you remove the outdrive, remove the plastic nut on water hose connection and push it out of the bellhousing.
then remove the snap ring holding the exhaust bellows in place, and disconnect the exhaust bellows.
Then disconnect the ujoint bellows from the bellhousing and the transom shield and carefully pull it out the bottom.
Reverse the order to reassemble. be careful you don't damage the bellow when pushing it up into position.

Thanks Don S.
Sounds fairly straight forward.
