A quick search shows they are a splash guard for the back of your boat,to keep the water from coming over the transom. Never seen them before. Go to home depot ,buy some plexi and screw it to your hull? Seems like a gimmick to me.

It's no gimmick, They work very well,.....They are very popular in the northern parts of the mid western states,.....At least for those of us that backtroll often,...

I have guys make them out of sheet metal or aluminum with a brake,.......

I have also seen guys make them out of plexi heating them in the oven before making the bends,...

Wave Wackers, White Caps, And Walleye Masters are the three brand names I can think of,..

Thanks Teamster!....I like the idea of heating them up and custom bending them...have you seen any of these yet?

I have seen pictures of other peoples work,............But I don't have the links anymore,...

I see your in MN,....It might be just as easy to call your manufacturer of preference and just buy them,......I think they will all make custom splash guards from your measurements,..

We use them all the time on out low freeboard boats to keep from waves coming over, but we call them the splash guard!
