Hi all, I have been having a continous problem with the overheat alarm (constant alarm)partly comming on at about 4900 RPM. Anyway I was out again yesterday and when the alarm came on after a while I took the engine cover off and noticed a lot of water in the bottom of the unit. I have also notice water on the engine after a days fishing and the spark plugs have started going rusty. I also have noticed that when the alarm is going if I open up the throttle to wot the motor seems to die. After yesterday I think the motor starts to die because it may have so much water in the casing that it starts to take in water through the bottom carb.

Can anyone give me an idea on where this water might be comming from and whether they think the alarm comming on has anything to do with water around the bottom of the unit. I placed my hand on the exhaust side of the motor and it is not running hot.
