On my last trip out my warning buzzer started going off. It will buzz twice when you turn the key on then after the motor has run for about 30 seconds it will start buzzing and won't go off. What is this for and what can I do to stop it. Can anyone out there help me on this.

most systems are wired to the engine over heat , engine low/no oil pressure, low/no outdrive oil

My 2001 Sea Ray recently did the same thing and even though the gear lube reservoir was full, when I disconnected the wires the buzzer stop sounding.
Emptied all the lube, took the bottle out, cleaned the inside real well, reinstalled and working fine with no buzzer.
That float in there was sticking making the system think it was low on gear oil when it was not.

Might not be your problem but easy to test and see if the buzzer stops sounding or not.

If your engine is fuel injected, the buzzer warns you of many things. Check the gear lube bottle and if that's not it ---- you need a scan tool.

The constant alarm as the same for EFI or carb. Some of the newer ones add the water pressure alarm but otherwise it is for oil pressure, temp or drive lube.

That statement could be right or wrong. It depends on serial number/ECM type. If the OP would post the engine serial number we could be sure.
