hello, this is my first post and i appreciate your experts input. i have a 89' force 85 hp that ran really well for a couple months only in fresh water in oklahoma. then it got really hot and blew the head gasket, so i took took the head cover to get looked at and the machine shop said it was badly warped so they shaved it to perfection, i put a new gasket, impeller and plugs in it and fired in up in my driveway with a hose. it smoked real bad and the pugs had water on them. i think my block is warped as well and i wanna know if there is any way to get it back to good without taking it all apart and have the block machined. my friend said i could simply take a couple tenths on the surface with a sander to get it even but i really think hes an idiot so ive come to you guys for some input. thank you for looking
