Bought a 2000 DF30 in 2002 and purchased the 6 year extended warranty good till March of 08.<br /><br />To make a long story shorter know one seems be able to identify the lack of power when under load, the oil in the water, the smoke that comes up behind the boat while under load. <br /><br />A compression test = 160lbs ea. A leak down test was preformed. The mechanic says along with the tech that the cylinders may be glazed and the warranty dose not cover that...<br /><br />The motor has always received on time and regular oil changes. This motor has never been abused, it gets used a lot but mostly running at trolling speed. It's been running like crap and in and out of the shop for at least the last 2 seasons. <br /><br />I also own a 2000 df15 with about the same hours and it is the best motor I have ever owned. What next?
