i have an under deck fuel tank and it has a good bit of water in it. i used the primer bulb to "pump" it out besat it could but still too much water to use.
what have you guys done to pump out you tanks? i even considered buying an automotive fuel pump and suck it out, concerned about safety.
let me know

Ayuh,....... Water is heavier than gas, so I usually start out with my oil sucker pump-out tank, 'n pull through the gauge sender hole,........

Once I start seein' decent gas comin' out, I run it, 'n change the fuel filter canister as necessary,......

Good idea to find out how all that water got in your tank.....so this issue doesn't re-appear later....water in under deck tanks can be real headaches!

If the boat is on a trailer, jack up the tongue as high as you can. This will cause the water to pool at the rear of the tank, making it easier to suck it out.

A hand siphon hose thru the fuel gauge sender will usually reach it. I have used a piece of 1/2" copper pipe thru the garboard drain to extend the siphon hose to a jerry can on the ground to hold the water, and assist the gravity feed.
