I recently rebuilt my water pump on my 9.9 Yamaha I notice a milky looking fluid coming from a weep hole on the side above the refilll oil plug. I opened the drain plug and some water came out. Anyone have any ideas where to start looking? I have not hit anything so I don't think there is a crack in the housing.

Could be the little gaskets for the two fill/drain screws or the screws weren't tight enough or possibly some fishing line got wrapped around the prop and cut it's way thru.

Prop shaft seals, drive shaft seals, and shift linkage seal.
Pressure checking is the best way to find which is the problem or just change all seals

I know it's not line that got in the prop.. so it's looking at the seals.
