New to this forum any response would be greatly appreciated. I own a 115 4 stroke jet drive(06) yamaha and have not run it since last year. Was planning on taking it on a hunting trip in a few days so I changed the oil I had not run the boat since last year. Changed oil and filter oil was dirty but no water in it and ran it down to the local lake to start it up and check everything out. Started the engine and ran it for approx five minutes before it died. I opened the cowling and their was water coming out of the air intake.Pulled it out of the water and their was water mixed oil coming out of exhuaust. Drive it home pulled the plugs water in cylinders, pulled the oil plug and water gushed out how cool. Engine has less than 40 hrs, it did overheat on the last trip I had it out on and a bunch of gravel probably got sucked into the intake. I shut it down about three seconds after alarm sounded. Am I dealing with a warped head and intake? How do I spec that if I am any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Overheat is the key indicator. Pull the head and check the head gasket. Inspect internals very carefully for other signs of cracks. Overheat and lack of lubrication are the two things responsible for most serious engine failures. If there was any water at all in the cylinders while it has been sitting you probably have turned an engine into an expensive anchor.
