the hard part is finding a gauge that reads 0-15 psi.

Most auto parts stores like Napa and National etc have fuel pressure gages that read 0-15psi...

Went back out to the lake today and ran it hard for about four hours. Got home, pulled the dipstick and nice clean oil :D.

We even had all 1600 acres to ourself for most of the morning and the water was nice and smooth :D.

1800 sq acres... :D i think that's what i read anyways. heck, with the lake up maybe even stretch the truth a little and call it 2k sq acres... ;)

glad ya got yer issue worked out. cool.
to bad i missed ya. i was out sun. before the rain, stayed all day and night. left about noon mon. morning. agreed. sure is great to have a whole lake to your self. i had it too. again. hope to be seeing ya...

sweet, the early bird gets the worm. love the early morning on the lake too, quite, peaceful, lake to myself. what's not to love.. i've never been to conestoga with this boat. imho, a shade small for my taste. heck, if i had my way, i'd live in yankton. lewis and clark is about right..;)

boatnut74, glad to hear it worked out. Too bad you didn't do a pressure test - I've done it on my 1993 Gen II and on my 9.9 kicker with a home made setup. Not hard to do. The test on my 9.9 show a leak at the water pump base. The base was warped and was letting water into the housing. One rebuild kit later and a re-test and its good as new.
