If you're sure it only has water in one cylinder, I would rule out the manifolds & risers. Is it alot of water? How did you discover it? Was it winterized properly? Does it run good? Are you seeing any milkiness in your oil? Water in only one cylinder would make me think that either the block/head has a crack or possibly a blown head gasket between the cylinder and the water jacket. Before ya go tearing it down, I would wait for more input from some of the pro's.

Kopec you may be exactly right but...

I never rule out the exhaust manifolds or risers when a marine engine has water in a cylinder! :D
Plus they are the easiest thing to remove from the engine & have checked.

Tilliam wet,you are correct. However, I can't help but think that if it were a bad manifold/riser that water would be present in all cylinders on that side. His manifolds are new and his risers are two years old. I concede the fact that the only way to rule them out would be to pressure test them.
