In my ever seemingley endless project to get this boat going I started to tilt the boat and Trailer up and down. The boat is out of the water for 5 months now and I hear a big SLOOSH back and forth.. I'm hopeing its the gas tank as its about half full right now.

Any other way then drilling a hole in the hull to see of theres water ?? I'm surprised there isn't some kind of access panel or something..

oh its a 1976 Glasply Runabout..

I can't see water dripping from anywhere.. on the bottom of the boat

lets hope the sound if form the gas tank.

old hulls will get water logged.
in the early years, builders did not put in limber holes for the water to drain to the bilge.

if there is water in the hull....it must come out or your hull will rot....if its not already.

look in the dry dock here at iboats. (the restoration section) there are several threads on the subject right now!

Is there no bilge plug hole at the bottom of the stern?

I see under the engine below the oil pan on the boat there is a small looks like access hole maybe 3.5" round and I have another kind of mid boat that's 10" round.

I can also take pictures if the description doesn't help..
