Where is the water intake for a 1967 100hp Johnson?

The water inlet is located in front of the exhaust outlet. Above and behind the prop.

Where is the water supposed to come out at? I don't see it coming out anywhere.

Once the engine has warmed and the t-stats open you should see water exiting the exhaust relief port located half way down the back side of the leg. This motor has no tell-tale (pissser), instead it was fitted with an over heat warning light fitted to the dash panel.

There is a 1 inch idle relief about half way down the leg. Water and steam are discharged here.
