Hello, I am having a water intrusion problem in the gearcase of my 1983 Evinrude 75 HP model # E75TRLCTE. When I took my boat out of the water last season and drained the gearcase I noticed a white milky oil coming from the case, I then purchased two new nylon gaskets for the both screws, then added new HI-VIS gearcase lube. I am just getting my boat going this year and have been working on it in my garage. I have not had the boat in the water yet since I added the new gearcase lube. I started the motor on "earmuffs" and noticed a milky substance coming from the exhaust through the prop area. I then drained some of the gearcase lube and again observed the "milky" oil in the gearcase. I only ran the motor for about 3-5 minutes on the earmuffs. This is the only water the motor has seen since the lube was changed. Where could my water intrusion problem be?

the way I did mine was to place unit in water pump air into the vent plug and watch for air bubbles around prop shaft waterpump ect someone else may have a better way but this worked for me Ps don't use excessive pressure

Did the pressure test and had to replace the driveshaft seals. Thanks for the help.
