hi, i'm having some trouble with my motor. i just replaced all parts to the water pump. and when i started it back up again it peed for a couple of seconds then stopped.what could that be? i changed everything in the lower unit so i cant find a reason for this.

Look for a blockage. Possibly a part of the old impeller has blocked a passage. What kind of shape was the old impeller in? Any missing parts? First check that the pee hole isn't plugged.

I agree with fishing1 there can be some pieces from your old impellor in the cooling system causing the water not to flow normally.At first take the eng cower off so you can see the hose connected to the pee hole and pull it out and try starting the engine then. If there is still not water coming out off the pee-hole hose you can try taking the lower end off again and try to back flush it by connecting a garden hose to the pee hole hose.
