Water pump impeller change?

2007 115 Yamaha 4 stroke, running in fresh water,about 100 hrs per year. What's the general concenses on how often should the impeller be replaced? Thanks.

yamaha says once per year OR every 200 hours.
I usually go at 200 hours or every 2 years.
