Water sprays??

Ive just bought an old Suz DT65 1980. Im used to seeing water jet out in a single clean stream. This one sprays out. The original owners says its normal but it suggests air in the system to me. Any comments?

After 10 or so minutes of use, the engine refuses to idle. In my mind I thought the idle issue to be related to 'over heating' caused by air in the water & spraying rather than jetting.

Any help greatly appreciated?.

when was the last time he or u tuned it up?
replace the impeller also?

Replace the impellar .... or you can use a thin wire to wiggle around in the "pee-hole" while the motor is running, you will be surprized what gets stuck in there ..... also make sure that water also comes out the discharge hole on the front middle of the motor .......
