water stain removal on cabin cushions ?

hi everyone , does anyone know what to use to get the water stains out of the cushions down in the cabin of our boat ? they were like that when we bought the boat . i can take the material off the foam and try washing them in the washmachine i just dont know what to put in the wash to try and get rid of the water stains ... thankyou ..

Hello I had the wife wash ours in tide. they looked great but I guess one of them where older or sun rotted washed it and it come to pieces so im going to see if i can match it and get it redone good luck!!!

White vinegar will help remove calcium deposits.

I had some candle wax stains on mine when i got it and was recemmended to put a damp towel over it and use an iron. It worked awesome!

If you wash them in the machine, lay them out to dry...don't use the dryer. The covers will shrink up, especially if the material has a backing to it. Put them back on the cushions while they are still partially damp to make sure they retain their shape.

Yeah I second what Fireman said. Most of these fabrics are really dry clean only. I would take them to the dry cleaners for the safest method.
