Have a water tite trailer and was looking for info for it. It's a dual axle and fits an 18' to 19' deep v ( i guess). Need to find the load rate and can't find any info. Are these popular trailers? Thanks for any info.

Nope,... Never heard of 'em....

The Weight rating can be figured out by checking the axles, 'n tires...

Bond-o's correct. DOT say's axles need to be stamped with the rated capacity. Wheels and tires are the same. From there you can figure it out. Please note that wheel capacity is not additive per side but is additive per axle. A tandom axle trailer with axels and tires rated at 1350lb (load range C) can handle 2700 lbs and not 5400lbs.

So I gotta ask, does a watertight trailer float?

Thanks for the replies. I'll be pulling the wheels to pack with grease so I'll check then. I talked to a trailer shop and they said (typically) a five lug is usually rated for 3500? I'll check to make sure.

sschefer, I'm sure the trailer will float better than the boat it's towing right now. haha.
