Water tube barb location

I have a 1995 Force outboard 40 hp motor that sits on a 1976 Larson trihull boat. I am trying to install a speedometer in the boat and have run the water tube through the boat to the engine but I can not find a water tube barb leading edge of the lower unit. Did Force put one there? If the motor does not have this item on it I will have to install a pitot tube on the hull to hook up the speedometer water tube.

I don't think that feature ever made to the Force line.

Yup PITOT tube is needed.
Make sure the hose when installed doesn't kink or get twisted.

Thanks for replies. I just went ahead and ran a pitot off the back and connected the speedometer tube to it.
