water tube issues

is there any way to reconnect the water tube with out thaking the powerhead off on a 1989 85 hp force?

ok update on this issue i got the tube pushed back in place, and getting lots of water to the motor, but i am worried that something is broke and the engine will suck something in and cause me more problems. i really do not what to pull the power head off though. not sure what to do.

i dont think anything can get sucked into the engine from that area except water... If you think a broken piece of the tube is stuck at the top of the power head but your getting plenty of water as stated. I wouldnt worry about it...
