Forgot to put the plug in one time. Luckily I heard 'glug glug glug' befor it was completely off the trailer. Winched her back up and pulled up the ramp enough to let her drain. Even though there was nobody around to see it, I was still red faced for a while.

2) Left the anchor out and took off towards the dock

And that was just last year....[/QUOTE]

Haha, done that!

Or, how about:
--filling up the fuel vent while compounding/polishing (dried rock hard) and having a 15 ft geyser of fuel shoot back out right past my face when trying to fill up at the gas station.
--dragging the prop a few feet up the ramp the 1st trip of the year (somehow, it's an every other year thing for me).
--leaving keys in the garage and not noticing until you get to the lake.
--buying a spare that did not fit my trailer and getting a flat in the middle of nowhere.

Couple of years back was waiting forever to load the Baja at the ramp, it was a windy day the ramp was on the downwind side,...decided I would pull into a little cove and beach the boat until it was our turn...It was only me and the boat with 1'-2' rollers crashing on the little beach were I was, so trying to hold on to boat, while hanging over the edge of the windshield trying to start boat (I was out side of it), so I could get it far enough away from beach to lower the motor and power away...if anyone was watching, I'm sure it looked like a monkey and a football.
