We helped the Sheriff Patrol

We went to the lake yesterday, ran around the lake for a while, and then had some lunch.

After lunch we headed to a spot where we always anchor off, and swim. While swimming, we noticed the Sheriff/water patrol, was just kind of drifting along. So, I got to watching them, to find that they were having engine problems.

I hollored over to them, and ask if they needed a tow. The reply was "YES" !!!

So we towed them in.

I even gave them a drink !!! (Of bottled water)

They thanked me, and even offered to buy me some gas or something. We respectfully declined.

I feel like we made 2 new friends !!!!!

That's awesome! I gave one a bottle of water today. I'm a police officer and did the boat patrol for a while as a part-time job. Very hot (uniform, vest, gun belt, PFD) and very boring. You're a good man!

They had a outboard. The engine cowl had been painted over, and had Sherrif Patrol on it, but the engine shaft led me to believe that it was a Yamaha, by the color of it.

I joked with them that someday, they could "forgive my sins", should it ever come up. I even ask them to inspect my boat, and I got a clean bill of health !!!!!!

Just trying to help out was all.

HOWEVER, them damn pesky jet fleas yesterday, was another story !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to agree with DaNinja here, that font, size and color is a real turn-off to reading the OP's posts. Ever wonder why newspapers, magazines, books, etc, don't use a font like that? Enjoyed reading this I bet!!
