I have a 86 225 vro, it has very weak spark on all cyl's, but good spark when I tested all cyl's with a new coil, I am going to pull the flywheel and check the stator as advised in a previous post, but what I am wondering is could a bad stator have caused the coils to become weak ?? So if I were to replace all the coils could a bad stator wreck these also ? also is there any way to test the stator with ohm meter/ voltage tester or do you need a special tester?
