Wait, you put a bear in the bottle? If it's a black bear okay I guess, but if it's a grizzly I'd be afraid to pop the top!

It was really early when I posted this morning......and we had a few to many "Bears" last night!

:D

Let me clarify one thing, when I said I use raw cane sugar, it is only a tablespoon in the bottom of the 1 little bottle when I bottle the bear for the carbonation portion of the process, it is not throughout the whole process.

May I suggest that bulk priming is a more consistent process than "a teaspoon in the bottom of the 1 little bottle"....make up a priming solution to the appropriate strength, and add it to the beer. the obvious extension then is to make it with malt extract....:)

Thank you Tim,

I am still learning, my last few batches actually worked out quite well, but I am looking at alternatives to what I have been doing to make my BEER(bear) better!

And really I did read through the other various comments and links you provided and it added to my knowledge...thanks again.

I've been threatening for years to start brewing. Seems like a really cool hobby, and I am very handy in the kitchen, so I think I'd enjoy it. Oh yeah, I love beer too, so that seems like it'd be a positive.;)

I can say, I throughly enjoy it, it is a fun hobby, of course to keep myself in beer, I sure would have to up the production capibilities, doing it 5 gallons at a time, really does not cover it! But it is fun to experiment with all the different ways and try some of the older brews that can't really be purcahsed anymore..
