Wellcraft soft, fish box hatches

Hello, I recently purchased a 2004 Wellcraft 32 CCF. The only issue I'm having with the boat is all 4 floor saddle fish box hatches have delaminated (are soft and cracking). I noticed where the holes for the latch hardware was cut out were never glassed over/sealed. Because not being sealed let the wood or material come in contact with water. The hatches are cracking, buckling and are very weak. All the other fish box/storage latches are glassed over and are solid as the day they were made. I don?t think I can get these rebuilt. Does anyone know where I can get some? Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with my 220 Sportsman. One cover is totally delaminated and too warped to repair. I've had very high quotes from local glass people as they need to make a mold of the cover first. So I tried ordering covers from Wellcraft.

Not sure on your model, but after almost a year of dealing with Wellcraft on trying to buy 2 fish locker covers, I'm told they sold off a lot of their small part molds on discontinued models when the company moved from Florida, and nobody there seems to know where or who they went to. If anyone knows please let me know.

I finally found a place that has the fish box hatches. Try them out they purchased a lot of the items from several boat manufactures including Wellcraft that went under in South FL. It called The Marine Connection. http://www.themarineconnection.net/ call them they should be able to help you. I bought 4 from them and they are very reasonable! Good Luck

When i was in FL last year I checked them out for some other stuff and didn't have my hatch dimensions with me. I'm heading back there in a few weeks and will take a look. Thanks.
I did find a guy who supposedly has a lot of small part molds from Wellcraft. I just emailed him with what I'm looking for. If it pans out I'll send you his info for future reference.

Yes, please send me his info when you can. I called them and gave them dimensions and they called me back in about 30 minutes and said they had them. They email me some pics to verify they were correct and mailed them to me the next day! They we only $95 each! Brand new!
