I ain't from the carribean, but i do follow Windies cricket some, however i have'nt had the opportunity to do so lately.
Brian Lara is a joy to watch at the crease, though not as flamboyant as Viv Richards was, nevertheless he's a very solid batsman.
Anyway 182/6 is pretty bad.

I really hope the Windies lift their game and give us a close series. Missed the Lara dismissal, was there a problem with it?

JB, it's cricket again, Australia versus the West Indies (windies). Lara is a windies player, he is a legend. He is probably the only man who could have given the aussies a run for their money.

I didn't see it but I was told that the third ump would have given 'not out'. Is that right whaley?

How's the SS prop situation mark?

SS prop is still painted black. Haven't got around to doing anything, so stupidly busy with work I keep getting distracted away from the important things in life to take care of the urgent! looking forward to that Eildon holiday, that's for sure... anyway, back to topic, pity about that Brisbane rain holding up Australia's certain victory! :(

Dunna, Lara nicked one onto his pads, the Ump gave him out LBW.
Much as I like to see the Aussies win I do like to see the games fair.

Agreed Whaley. Puts a sour taste in your mouth if you win at any cost. In this instance (I didn't get to see it) would that decision have made a lot of difference? Let's hope the Windies get a good dig in today but I fear its going to be a whitewash (literally!).

Yep... lambs at the slaughter. Pity, I just hope they get going in Hobart.
