Yea, top, but it would cost you a fortune to move it up there.

Re: Whaddaya'll think?

Topmason you got me on this one! :) I looked at your post and sat back for a couple minutes thinking of doing a search as I knew I had seen that boat before here on IBOATS!

scamper:
Moving the boat is a non-issue as Astoria is only a couple hours away from Topmason and most any 3/4 ton truck can pull it up here. Unless it's a Chebby... then you can rent a Ford from Lowes...for about a Hundred bucks :p

Darn nice looking boat!
And Top, think about it like this.. Fuel will be covered by the money you are saving by not smoking anymore! Good Decision...I may follow your example in the near futher..

But YELM! Be honest with Boomyal !
Boomyal: YELM is so far out in the sticks..
The Sister I never wanted lives there.. email is dilvered by squirles! I swear! :)

:) :)

Re: Whaddaya'll think?

I'll jump in-

there's a nice 22' sea ray for sale in Yelm. Stored inside in a big steel shop. seemed pretty solid.

I went and looked at it- asking 9,995 and that was too far outa my bracket to talk the guy down, but it's been listed for a while. He might be hungry.

Out on vale loop??? something loop.
boattrader.com- search sea ray.

No hardtop, but a nice cuddy. lots of extras.

dk,
I looked at a Reinell flybridge here in Yelm a couple months ago. I believe it was a 76 or so, 26'.
Fairly fresh 350, OMC 800, with a spare 800 to go with, 2 electric downriggers.
$8900

I appreciate the value- but
flying bridge? ugh... been there. I've from Alaska where every boat has a cabin. Now that I'm in the tropics where you just need a rain cover, I'm in love with deck area; you don't have to stand in your buddies space if more than two people are dealing with gear.

Re: Whaddaya'll think?

I'm with DK...while on those sunny 4 months on the Columbia a flybridge is sweet, the rest of the time you'll want to use an inside helm. And Top, you get fewer sunny days than we do.
There's just too much weight up there for the comparatively small amount of time the flybridge is used....

Re: Whaddaya'll think?

The flybridge is enclosed and I like the idea of being up high.
After having a 21' cuddy with hardtop and alaskan bulkhead, I decided I'd never have a boat without some sort of top and heater.
We go out all winter and that cabin was nice and in the summer you could get outta the sun and heat.
What other model, brand, etc; 26-30 ft. could I be looking for with a large enough cockpit(like this one in previous pics), able to sleep 2 adults and 5 kids at times, a galley, head with shower would be a plus too?? (no porta potti)

Re: Whaddaya'll think?

Topmason...I gotta say if there is some foundation for the asking price and there aparently is then buy it. In the end it aint what ya got in it that counts but what you get out of it. Plus it's toufgh to shop older boats due to condition etc. Aint like buying a new car if you know what i mean, there aint 30 of these all identical setting on every corner. She certinaly is good lookin.
