WOW, two different boats....
You will get some people to tell you that tri hulls are rougher than v-hulls. I will tell you that when dealing with shallow bays (I live in Texas and am very familiar with the shallow bays along the Texas coast) the length of the boat has more impact than the hull. I had a 21 ft that road much better than a friend's 18 ft.
That being said, I would have no problem with either hull. I would be more concerned about the dual console vs the center console. Depending on what you will be doing, and your personal preference, you will likely prefer one over the other. After owning a center console, I am convinced that is a GREAT design for my boating. Others will disagree. So....
Think about what you will be using the boat for. If fishing in the Texas bays, IMHO, you can't beat the center console. If you like to sit in a boat, rather than the feeling of standing and driving, and are willing to give up the extra walking room, get the dual console.....as always, your mileage will vary...
