To Quell Current Mob Actions:<br />Effect immediate Marshall Law with tight curfews and armed military patrols. Announce tough penalties for violators. Set up barbed wire camps to take in large groups of trouble makers for later trial. <br /><br />Advice Per Scotland Yard on TV - Send in undercover agents to locate and infiltrate the riot leadership (riot leaders typically are 3-4 blocks behind actual riot lines on cell phones and walkie talkies directing and instigating trouble). Take the leadership out(period). Scotland Yard says once the instigating leadership is gone most folks go home. <br /><br />Publically offer a peace truce to address complaints/issues with civilized leadership with a definite timeline for acceptance by rioters. <br /><br />Announce that those caught rioting after the truce deadline will be imprisoned and/or deported.

Good suggestions EZ. Or they could just shoot the rioters on site. I guarantee you that what ever they are rioting for is not worth thier lives.

Make a public declaration to tackle social inclusion and disciminationary practices ie immigrants must speak french within 90 days or be deported ,immigrants cant go into a overdraft with thier bank or the account is closed down

I'm frankly suprised at the obvious hatred & flippant attitude at the French situation....Let's see what happens when the U.S. can't pay the bills & entitlements get cut off....Oh, I forgot the solution! Print more money.... Though I detest quoting the bible...(Not as much as Rush LImbaugh, mind you)...Which would never happen...."There but for the grace of god, go I". Something like that anyway....Beware, don't think that it could not happen here....JK

just heard on the news...after 8 days they are considering bringing in the military...considering it...oui...wouldn't want to act too hastily.<br /><br />surely they could just sit down with a nice croisant and cafe au lait and maybe a nice bottle of wine...<br /><br />Nip it, I say! Nip it in the bud! Bring back la guillotine, lock 'em up in the bastille.<br /><br />Okay but the real question is...what if they ask the U.S. for military assistance...I say we gotta do it...take the moral high road, as it were...
