Not sure if the pic worked. What are the brackets/mounts/etc under the grab rails in the bow of a Larson All-American 170. It is a 1991 17ft bow rider. Anybody have an idea?

I looks like where you put your bow lines to tie up at the dock. Sort of hard to tell by the photo, though.

Ayuh,... Those are bow sockets that hold up the bow, that holds up the cockpit cover, 'n keeps it from saggin', 'n holdin' water,...

++^ That is right. They are used to hold the cover support.

+++ There are wood (usually) slats that fit tightly between those and bow upward to keep the cover tight and water from accumulating.
