I never thought to ask about my chimney problems 'till I saw someone else ask.

Then it dawns on me. This is a boating web site yet we seem to discuss almost anything.

So, what aren't we all experts on (except maybe winning the lottery so we could boat all the time and I could move to Florida/California/Texas to boat all year)

Notice the forum: 'Dockside Chat'

It isn't for boats anymore! (Never has actually)
Talk about anything you want here ( Except maybe Ray's red truck :D )

So, what aren't we all experts on ?

Hmmm...

I kinda like to think I'm somewhat 'universal'... I like to tinker with just about everything... Long enough to see what makes it tick anyway, or until it breaks!

Well... here goes... If I had to sum it up in one word... I'm not an expert on WOMEN.

Good enough?

:D

EDIT:

DANGIT EBB! You stole my steam... You posted while I was typin' !

H.

I think I fail miserably in the catagory of keeping she herself happy 24/7/365. Any one else got this lack of expertise?

steam_mill:
I've given this a lot thought! Like two seconds!
A: Kids.. they are a lot of fun to make! :)
B: Child rearing comes in stages
1st child your shooting in the dark without a clue but learning all the time
2nd child you have learned to pick your battles.
3rd child doesn't have a chance! Your battle scared and learned to make them pick the battles you have already won :)

My youngest daughter told me this :p

So I'm going to have to go with Women and Rays Red Truck!

:D :D :D

When looking for advice, who do you usually ask... someone older that has either done what you are trying to do, or has lived through what you are trying to get through.....

this boat represents a few thousand years of experience, for people who are not afraid to give an honest opinion, not just what you want to hear.

that is one reason i'm here.

Its so true, "The older you get the more you know"! I am the type of guy that can basically do anything! Its really a gift! Mechanical, bulding, computers, the list goes on! As long as I want to!! (My wife says) My nephews said one time, "Is there anything you cant do Uncle Ray"??

Yes, another Ray on the forum!

Its hands on things Im good at!

Between all of us here on the forum I think we can tackle the world!!

Then your thinking like a teenager. :p  :p

Women, Who knows or cares I'll probably be dead before I ever figure that one out.

Re: What aren't we experts on?

Ill second that Kenneth, and nominate myself for Official Towel Distribution Officer for the Dancers Shower!!!!

Since they would be quite sore after all that dancing and shaking and doing that counter rotating tassel bit (also known as the Dance of the Double D's), they will need an extensive theraputic massage. :p

In accordance with good officer leadership directives, I wouldnt have anyone else do something I wasnt fully prepared to do myself.

:D :D :D :D :D
