What color for my 1995 70 hp Johnson?

I think my motor was repainted so I am not sure what the original color is. Were they originally solid black or smoke gray?

If anyone is wondering, the proper color for a 1995 Johnson (that isn't white) is their Smoke Gray which is a really dark metallic gray.
