What color rusto should I choose?

I am wracking my brain on a color choice... when i finally fig it out.. I can order my seats..LOL. decisions are sometimes hard

Fig I would throw it out there.... I may still decide to get risky and mix some colors for a custom look

I have the same dilema. Thinking gray/black but wife hates it. Liking sea foam but can't find seats to match. Screwed either way.:facepalm:
White with hammer tone silver doesn't look to bad either.

Look at seats first, I was going to go with the stock color of yellow on my SS till I started looking at seat, any seat with yellow on them start at close to a hundred bucks a piece.

Seats sure tripped me up a bunch, really racked my brain trying work through it.

I am good now, my rig should look about like that second photo Michael posted up there ^^^^.

For you? All are great colors done right with an interior to match.

Ya know EZ... i was thinking that too a few days ago.. not many orange. I like the idea of an orange with say white... Maybe mix some orange and a lil red to make it a slight darker orange than is factory rusto orange
I might go orange/tangerine. .. lol?!?

After looking I could go rusto safety orange.
mix a custom orange rusto
or buy valspar tractor implement allis chalmers orange... which seems to be a lil redder than the kubota orange ... o well.. I have all weekend to think about it... have a good weekend all

I agree that orange is vastly underrated when it comes to boats. Great color for something that's out in the sun all the time.

Welcome to my world Glen...I found out that yellow vinyl spray paint is much cheaper than yellow seats. I just have not tried it out yet.

I have 4 blue seats, but don't want a blue boat either, go figure.

Have to agree with Mike on the orange, I think it's really cool. Uber safe too, I believe there are studies out that state orange is the most visible color on the water (then yellow then red). I almost went that route with my last sea kayak but she ended up being safety yellow.

A while back there was a 16SS for sale in North Dakota that was a real bright orange, like the 69-70 Dodge Chargers form the General Lee on the tv show Dukes of Hazard, It looked real sharp. I tried to find it but it must have sold.

What about white base with red and blue stripes? Not the whole boat striped but something low key like the one that Machine posted.

We are pianting our 16SS a deep red(maroon) on the top portion and leaving the factory beige on the bottom. Leaving the fatory beige on the top flat surfaces. Seats are a brown that should contrast the marron. Our deliema is the floor covering colour?
And, yes when done will post a picture.

Hey Matlok, check out Totem or Homedepot, they carry Dek-Master outdoor vinyl, it is real nice stuff and it comes in taupe color that may work for you. It is also less expensive than marine floor vinyl.

Matlok, I know it's not listed in the poll but a two tone tan looks really cool. After seeing it in FJ Russo's thread I keep waivering about doing it myself. The bottom has a light tan with a darker strip on the top quarter. You should check it out.

Do the floor covering color either beige or brown...
I like that color combo ... maroon and beige. That will look nice when done
