My girls got me a new grill. Five burner with an infrared. Sat by my dad and mom at church this morning, then they came over for dinner this evening (grilled chops, sweet taters, and grilled zucchini and yellow squash). They just left. Our stomachs and hearts are full. Happy Dad's Day everyone, and a special congratulations to Cobia. That's outstanding.

Was blessed and honored to see daughter #1 graduate after fulfilling twelve years of school and training to become a ER Doctor. Very nice cards and calls from daughter #2 and a new fish finder, card and letter from my wife. Great food, laughs, and a bit of antacid......was a fathers day to remember.

I am having a teriffic Fathers day (week). It all started last Friday when me my wife and two kids went to the marina and picked out our first boat. It's a 1987? Celebrity Champion Bowrider. It will be ready for us to pick up this Thursday (hence the Fathers day week). We are very excited about this. My kids got me some wonderful cards and redeemable coupons (car wash, room clean, kitchen clean etc...) for whenever I want to use them. We had a great time hanging out together yesterday, we went to Walmart and got some fishing poles. Then we went and got some fireworks for the 4th of July. It was great for me just seeing my kids so happy and excited. They kept telling me it was the best day ever which just made me feel that much the better. All in all a great Fathers Day!!!

I got a Kindle W-Fi + 3G, cover, and gift card (all charged on my credit card ... thought that counts, right?!? HA!). Bummed that the oldest 2 didn't stop or call . probably hear from them today ...

Weekend at the trailer with all our (grown up) children present and their significant others (where applicable). Hectic but great fun. Boat got a good work out on the lake as well.

Fished all morning. Brought home fluke filet. Wife made an excellent meal of fresh fish, spinach and baked potatoe. Daughter (15) made a cake. Son (14) washed my truck without asking. Sat together in the evening and watched a movie.
I got a perfect day!

i too got a bottle of aged whiskey from my boy... + my he went with me to the lake. that was pretty special to me as he don't go much now that he's 21 and been long gone out of the house. it was a fine day at the lake. the whiskey is good too. had a couple samples with the boy when we got back home from the lake..

the 'ol lady got me a new pair of shorts and a new tshirt... got them on today.. fit perfect and look good... blue shorts w/aqua colored tshirt..

it was a good day for me..

My son made a wonderful chicken dinner. The best part was not having to dish out the cash to pay for it. He bought it all. Including the ice cream cake. Yum.

Didn't get anything (I dropped the ball on mother's day so my wife conveniently didn't do anything for father's day ). Took my almost 4 year old on what was supposed to be a short 1.2 mile hike at a nearby county park but due to a gross miscalculation on my part it ended up being almost 3 miles. With not too much complaining my son completed the whole walk. I thought that was pretty good for a little guy. In the afternoon we took a 2.5 hour nap which was fantastic

I got two lightweight golf shirts and visors with the boat name embroidered on them exactly as it's on the boat. I got the first one for my birthday in February so now I've got white, red and black... I'm set for the season!

Aday with my side of the family and my kids @ my Dad's, he loves all the kids and then he crashes on the longe and I think that was the best part besides watching them all line up to kiss him before they leave.

I got a very nice and much needed dual speed buffer from my 4 year old, but could only have it if we went to the beach to ride the go-carts and bumper boats! Every day is a good day spent with the kids though!
