I'm trying the opposites attract way this time, and boy are we opposites. She doesn't work, sleeps till late, has little ambition, and me, I do all that stuff, don't really have a choice. The things I always looked for seemed to backfire on my practice marriage, but this one as crazy as it sounds, is actually working quite well. I tend to pick my battles these days, I stopped worrying about the small stuff, and maybe that is a better way of doing things. She's 17 years younger than my 53 years, and I always say she keeps me young. Actually we do like all the same things, northern Michigan, boats, fishing, golf, movies. We don't drink and I think that helps a bunch, ex was a big drinker, and it did cause some problems. I have grown and matured and Linda has always been mature I think.
