Has anyone ever tried tried this? http://www.damprid.com/
I've seen the commercials, but no idea if it actually works.

I tested this stuff in a damp basement and was not pleased. When it soaked up all it could the plastic tub split and spewed blue crap everywhere. If you do use it I would recommend putting the tub in something waterproof to catch any spills.

Dessicant bags. You can make your own too. Buy silica gel beads from the craft store and dump into a fabric bag. They use silica gel beads for drying flowers. I made 3 bags out of cotton with a plastic zipper on one end. Just dump the silica gel in and zip closed and then hang in the boat. The silica gel beads I got have the indicator beads that change color when the max out. When they do I just dump them into an old cake pan and bake for about an hour at 300 deg and they are good to go again.
