Question for the bluechart owners - I loaded the software but don't see the detail, as in buoys and such, how do you see them?

Go into setup under maps and make syure that you have them turned on. By default they are off when you get the unti.

Still haven't figured it out. Are you talking setup on the gps unit or the pc?
Thanks

On the GPS go into the setup menu. Look under the Map tab and go to the source page. Make sure you you have Mapsource set to on

Re: What do you have for a GPS?

I have a Uniden Mystic GPS/VHF radio combo. It has a distress button that sends a signal to the coastguard and locks your coordinates to other boaters. It has location specific weather reports and allows DSC calling. It is also submersible.

So far I like it, the batteries last a long time on a charge and it feels tough as nails.

My one gripe is that it comes with Mapsend destinations and not BlueNav.

Here is more info on it.
http://www.uniden.com/productpop/00_productpop.cfm?prd_code=MYSTIC
